Important: Biology BL230 and Lab Human A& P Requires Chair Permission

If you plan to take BL 230/L Human Anatomy & Physiology during fall 2017, please be aware that enrolling requires chair permission. This course is a pre-req for many allied health professional programs (DDS, PA, PT, AA, nursing, optometry, etc.). It is not intended for pre-medical students. Preference will be given to 2018 graduates.
You must contact Department Chair, Rebecca Drenovsky, Ph.D., (rdrenovsky@jcu.edu) by Friday, March 31. If you do not e-mail this information by the deadline, you are unlikely to receive a seat in the course.

Join social entrepreneur, Rebecca Davis, founder of MindLeaps, an international NGO working in post-conflict countries, Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in Rodman A.

MindLeaps is based in the U..S. and works in post-conflict and developing countries, including Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina, to permanently decrease the number of street children. As part of “The Art of Culture Shock: Native Americans at the Intersection of Contemporary American Society” workshop, and to learn about many diverse cultures in the contemporary United States, including those of Native Americans, there will be an art contest. The contest will focus on the intersection between JCU students’ personal and cultural identities.Entries will be displayed in the Muldoon Atrium of the Dolan Center for Science and Technology during the “Art of Culture Shock” event on Monday, March 27.
